1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the booq.ink platform ("Platform"), operated by booq.ink ("we", "us", or "our").
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
2. Service Description
booq.ink is a business-to-business (B2B) software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform designed for tattoo studios and independent tattoo artists. The Platform provides booking management, client relationship management (CRM), public profile pages, messaging, analytics, and payment processing facilitation.
3. User Types and Accounts
The Platform supports three user types:
- Studio Owners — create and manage studios, handle business operations, team management, and financials.
- Artists — independent artists who own their own studio, or studio-bound artists who work within another studio.
- Clients — consumers who book appointments, communicate with studios, and make payments.
4. Payment Processing
Payment processing is facilitated through Stripe. booq.ink does not hold funds — payments are routed directly to the studio's connected Stripe account. A platform commission is deducted at the time of payment. Cash payments are tracked for record-keeping but do not incur platform commissions.
5. Subscription Plans
The Platform offers tiered subscription plans (Free, Pro, Growth). All plans include multi-artist support. Plan features, pricing, and terms are displayed on the pricing page and may be updated from time to time.
6. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We are committed to GDPR compliance as a European-first platform.
7. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, data retention applies as follows: booking records are retained for 5 years, payment records for 10 years, chat messages for 90 days, and uploaded images for 30 days.
